Detroit 2009: Dodge Circuit on the stand

We got the technical details and press pics about the new Dodge Circuit earlier today, but now we’ve had a chance to see the car for ourselves. Of course, if you’ve ever seen a Lotus Europa, you, too have pretty much seen the Circuit. After all, the only thing that Dodge added to the exterior is the crosshair grille and the Tangoreen color – oh, and the badging. The all-electric guts – with A123 battery pack and 200 kW motor – are cool, and if Chrysler wasn’t in so much financial trouble, we’d look forward to driving one of these someday. We recognize a shortcut when we see one, but we’re still glad that when a company wants to draw attention to itself, electric drive is the way to do it. Sure is way cooler than a Rampede.
